From the British Virgin Islands to the Grenadines and Grenada in the south, the arc of the Antilles is composed of volcanic islands dominated by volcanic pitons and magnificent archipelagos. You will discover luxurious, richly coloured vegetation proliferating under the tropical showers : forests, waterfalls, tropical flowers, parrots and a multitude of other species of birds can be found just around the corner on one of our fantastic excursions or simply have a rest « » on a white sandy beach after some unforgettable snorkelling on the reef.
Sailing between the islands requieres a good competence, but you can ask for a skipper for some days or for all the cruise.


Weather
The Leeward and Windward Islands lie across the easterly trade winds which make for easy passages north or south, just far enough apart for open water sailing. The winds normally blow at about 10 to 20 knots in the summer months and from 15 to 25 knots from November to May. Winter season winds are generally east/north east, while the passage of tropical depression systems between July and October cause north east/south east variations for short periods. The currents generally flow in a westerly direction. The tidal range is about 18 inches/45cm.
