Yacht Charter Bahamas
Abaco, Marsh Harbour, Nassau

The Bahamas : discover turquoise waters, sparkling beaches, moderate winds and a wealth of interesting anchorages. These fantastically rich waters bring exceptional sailing to the cruising paradise of The Bahamas, thank to the vivid blue of the Gulf Stream. The attraction here is in the subtle beauty of soft sands, sheltered sailing, and surprising delights of seclusion. Once the home of swash buckling privateers, one of the world's great cruising areas is found in the clear, reef-protected waters of the spectacular Abacos.
Blessed with the perfect location—less than 100 miles off the coast of Florida; the perfect climate—averaging a little over 75 degrees; and the perfect environment—crystal clear turquoise blue waters and pearly white sandy beaches, the Islands of the Bahamas is the perfect travel destination for your wedding, siesta, party, honeymoon, or family vacation.
The Bahamas offers all the types of yacht charter such as bareboat charter, skippered, crewed yacht charter, catamaran, sailboat, motoryacht and luxury yachts charter.

Yacht charter starting point
From Abaco base - a full service marina with fuel, water, ice, laundry and shower facilities, provisioning - you will find an extensive range of yachts and catamarans from 30ft to 52ft and crewed boat to sail in this legendary cruising area. Laundromat, restaurant, hotel, swimming pool, supermarket, bank, dive equipment, and shopping are available. Climate is tropical but tempered by trade winds with little variation between summer and winter. Rainfall is low, varying slightly from island to island. Night temperatures drop to a comfortable level.

Boat rental Exp. Level in the Bahamas

Weather in the Bahamas
The Bahamas' temperatures are moderated by the waters of the Gulf Stream. And because they are slightly cooler than other Caribbean islands. Average temperatures in the Bahamas range from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (27 to 32 degrees Celsius) in the summer to 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 27 degrees Celsius) in the winter. Winds across The Bahamas keep vacations cool in the daytime and help lower the temperatures at night.

Bahamas airport
Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH). Access to Abaco is easy from Florida's Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports and the marina is just five minutes from the airport.

Bahamas currency
US Dollars and US$ travellers cheques are used. Major credit cards may be accepted in hotels, restaurants and some shops. There are many places throughout the sailing areas to exchange money from cash, Travellers Cheques and Major Credit Cards.

Strong points
Since the day they were first discovered by ship, the 700 islands in The Bahamas have increasingly become a magnet for sea vessels. Fuel up. Chart a course. Uninhabited cays, hidden coves, annual regattas, and modern marinas will sweeten the voyage. The central cruising area comprises Great Abaco and Little Abaco, along with a delightful string of sandy cays just to the east. Begin in the center at quaint Man-O-War Cay. The beach at Treasure Cay is one of National Geographic's Top 10! Great snorkeling and a Marine Park are the attractions at Fowl Cay. Cultural appeal is the calling card of Green Turtle Cay with its museum, sculpture gardens, and fine dining at the Green Turtle Club. Visible for miles is the historic lighthouse of Hope Town, a candy-striped sentinel on the southeastern reef. South to Pelican Cays National Park you'll be amazed by the vast collection of colorful coral and sea life. Giant starfish are scattered along the sandy bottom for miles.
